Erin Lafferty
Erin Lafferty is the founder of EL Advisors, and has 15 years of experience with commercial businesses and public accounting.  Erin’s areas of expertise include financing activities, strategic planning, sales forecasting and cost analysis, monthly consolidations, financial reporting, audit preparation, and operations management.

Erin served previously as chief financial officer for GenVault, Corp., a venture backed sample management company focusing on life science customers.  Erin also held the positions of vice president, finance and human resources and corporate controller while at GenVault. Prior to her career with GenVault, Erin was corporate controller for Medibuy, Inc., where she oversaw accounting, planning, and SEC and management reporting. She previously held a similar position at SilkRoad, Inc.  Erin was a senior and staff accountant for Ernst & Young, LLP, where she focused on clients in the biotech and high tech industries, and earned her California CPA.

Erin earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management, University of California, Los Angeles.
